If i receive a reply to one of my SMS messages while i am online i
receive it correctly from that persons contact list entry.

If it is sent when i am offline, then i do not receive it.

However the network log does show that it is received by the client.

First noticed this with 1.2.4 but i didn't use SMS much before that so
maybe it's always been a problem. I've updated to CVS as of about 24
hours ago and it still suffers from the problem.

I've also had problems with the messages arriving garbled, e.g. as a mix
of chinese and undisplayable (square box) characters. It should be
plain english. But this second problem hasn't occured since running the
cvs version yesterday, i'll make another post if it does occur again.

Heh, just as i was about to hit send, it happened again!

from the network log:

22:53:06: SMS from 447786231032 - renee (75004770).

And the message that poped up (not sure how this will work with
character sets and what not, i've only ever used english. I see in
mozilla the chinesse characters with the square boxes replaced by
question marks. Moz says the characters are not in the selected message
encoding and may make the message unreadable...):

?^(6)??????^(6)??????????????^(7)??^(7)?? ???????
??????????????^(5)???????????????????

Any way i can help diagnose either of these problems?
