If it does, remove the <SOMETHING> and save the file. The in the Qt-GUI, in the user message window, use the 'abc' button to set the encoding. If the user is on a Windows system, it may be different than if the user is on a *nix system. Play around with it to see what encoding they are using. I'd first try UTF-8...
