Hello All!! I hope you are well. 1999 has been really good to me. I got
engaged and will soon be married. All my thanks are to God. His wisdom,
truth, grace, forgiveness and LOVE have helped me overcome many troubles in
my life. I still have a few to go but by the grace of God I will put them
behind me.

To help me understand what you mean here (so I don't make my own
conclusions) please elaborate. And who told who what?

What is the day to day process you are referring to? I know of only
one place where Christ is mentioned (well mentioned first). And the event
your are describing originates in the same place.
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also
which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him (1 Thessalonians 4:14).
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are
alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them
which are asleep (1 Thessalonians 4:15).
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the
voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ
shall rise first: (1 Thessalonians 4:16)
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them
in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the
Lord (1 Thessalonians 4:17).
Now there are also other places in the Bible that refer to this event and it
usually referred to as the rapture.
I hope you all don't mind my Biblical interjections. When I joined this
list the Bible was the farthest thing from my mind when it came to
spirituality. The more I learned about myself in meditation - the more
myself became detached from reality. I was extremely happy and easy going
but my questions were not being answered and neither were my prayers for
peace. And then I got arrested for a DWI. I was lucky and had to serve a
couple days jail over the weekend (my parents dropped me off- I was 27). As
I was being led into my cell a Bible was laying directly in my path in front
of my cell ( I would've had to walk over it). Since they didn't let me take
any of my books in with me I of course grabbed the Bible and began reading.
I didn't put it down all weekend and will never ever put it down again.
Many people want you to believe many things, especially about God, and the
Bible. Like the Bible is a book of myths or that we are God. To believe
these statements, I think, would be more difficult. More like a disobedient
child not wanting to eat their vegetables because they taste bad. Why is it
so hard to believe that we have a Father that loves us very much and only
wants the best for us. Why must we all live for ourselves and let our
personal desires rule over us. There is only one truth. I think we can
agree on that (or maybe not). Regardless of what soul searching I have
been doing throughout my life, I have always felt there was only one way to
do it correctly. And in no way am I referring here to going to church and
becoming religious - that is not the point. I But I am saying that there is
a man who said his life is an example of how to live correctly and overcome
our adversary. His name is Jesus.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man
cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6).
