PS The Ultimate Solution would also include creating different predefined
stylesheets for LilyPond, something i've been thinking about for a long
time. For example, in "old hand-engraving style" the numeral would be
bold, to match the heaviness of overall design, while the "modern style"
could have the number lighter and italic, as it seems to be the trend now.
Again, no time to do this now (unless someone wants to sponsor it).
