Reported bug to Ghostscript.
<URL:http://bugs.ghostscript.com/show_bug.cgi?id=693858>. Due to the
Ghostscript bug, the code is not currently an improvement on the PDF (but
definitely on the PS). It's not much of a detriment, either. Since it
significantly improved the PNG, PS and EPS files, I'd still go for it and
hope for gs2pdf to eventually catch up.
