could you please prepare a complete test suite, showing all cases of rest
positioning that we're discussing? Your example in comment #6 is nice, but
from the discussion i understand that it's not complete. For example i'm
not sure whether we're talking about eight-rest positioning or is it
irrelevant to this issue, and i'm not sure if it includes all cases of
changed regtests, and i suppose a tablature example is necessary.
Once the test-suite is ready (preferably with before and after images),
i'll gladly comment on it.
