Another design question: currently, a staff-based rest in multi-voice
situations is attached to a staff line as long as one can distinguish it at
all from a single-voice rest. Should the minimum required distance be
larger, in order to avoid having it move too far from shorter non-staff
aligned rests? Please look at the regtest output and consider.
Also: should some effort be made to have consistency between two-voice
rests, so that whole/half note rests and/or upper/lower voice rests jump to
the ledgered versions more synchronously, at least with regular-spaced
staff lines?
