Please look at the example I gace in issue #42: you can't "update
completion factor" since \scaleDurations might cover an arbitrary number of
contexts. This needs to work at the music expression level if at all, but
that leaves the question of how the current factor would get communicated
to the completion engravers. I don't think we can reasonably do better
without a whole lot of extra effort.
