When you say "incipit.ly", I presume you're referring to the one in
snippets/new, and on which I based my earlier proposed change? That one
certainly produces incipits similar to the ones I see in printed music and
would be what I would recommend we use as a baseline. You will note that I
modified it somewhat, with what I found to be improvements.
