It might be worth checking what the update-with-convert-ly problem in
Windows is exactly. At any rate, the simulation missed updating the
version number of ly/engraver-init.ly. I was surprised that my
revert/cherry-pick/whatever version of that convert-ly run made that
additional change.
So you use a Windows version of git and git-cl as well? I'm surprised that
all that works without a hitch when update-with-convert-ly doesn't.
Certainly seems worth fixing the latter if that's somehow in reach.
