They are connected. Snippets in the LSR which are tagged 'docs' are
exported from the LSR. When appropriate, I or another LSR person will
import those into the git repo using make-lsr. Any which is no longer
present in docs is automatically deleted from the snippet lists by this
import. Therefore, there's no point in modifying the snippets except those
in snippets/new: any other changes are over-written by the LSR import.
