Trust me to do all the hard algebra and get consistent instead of
semi-random results. Consistently wrong. Put my cross-product factors in
the wrong order. So the last regtests moved the boundary points
consistently _outward_ instead of _inward_ for half a blot diameter. Now
everything has moved inward.
Valentin's example now has quite a narrower fanfare shape.
