Why not releasing a 2.12.4 instead?  Revision numbers (third number of
the version number) are cheap, aren't they, and release numbers (-0, -1,
-2 etc.) are only supposed to denote a difference between different
builds of the *same* sources (i.e. same Git committish of LilyPond
sources branch), aren't they?  It must also save you work on GUB or at
least put down its priority so you can work on more urgent tasks.
