In general, if you don't like the shape of a slur or tie, it can be altered. See section 5.5.4 of the Notation Reference: http://www.lilypond.org/doc/v2.19/Documentation/notation/modifying-shapes It's not as hard as it looks, although you might find it quicker to experiment with adjusting the slur in a small snippet before applying the change to your full score, in order to save re-compilation time. hope that helps -- Graham
