Hi Jogchum,

Yes: a hidden voice, which contains *all* rhythms exactly as needed to attach
all the lyrics, but the *notes* are hidden (using a NullVoice or Devnull or
similar). The lyrics are ALWAYS attached to that voice — eliminating the need
to change associatedVoice — it’s just that we never SEE that voice (i.e., the
notes of that voice) because it’s hidden.

To my eye, they’re the same approach (at least fundamentally): attach lyrics to
a voice that has all necessary rhythms, and then use some mechanism to turn
display of the notes off.

I’m sure it’s possible — I just don’t have the time right now to chase down the
precise incantation.

Cheers,
Kieren.
