What I would propose to add to the LilyPond chordmode (not sure if clever or possible): Adding notes without number in front of it: c:.9 (= what is c:5.9 now) Removing already works: c:^3 = c:5^3 Concerning the display, "add" could turned on to be the prefix by default for such chords (?).
