As i said, defining new instrument contexts is very cheap - you can just do
\newInstrument "ViolinI" "Violin" "StaffGroup"\with { } \with { }
\newInstrument "ViolinII" "Violin" "StaffGroup"\with { } \with { }
and have ViolinI and ViolinII available.
