Dear All, It depends. The laying flock has a guard dog, Sophie, specifically trained to guard chickens. In addition, there are multiple electrified fences around them.
The chickens raised for meat are in enclosed coops. I haven't been out there in a while, so there might be fences there, too, but I'm not sure.
