Rachel, Thanks for clarifying Codman’s chicken protection. I have been wondering why the apparent increase in coyotes and thought the “chicken fields’” seemed like a possible partial explanation. I’m wondering how many chickens they still lose to predators. Until we built a chicken fortress, even with an electric fence, on more than one occasion lost parts of our flock.
