Good morning,

Sorry about your infestation. They are super destructive.

UMass has this info:

https://ag.umass.edu/turf/management-updates-october-24-2019

This from the National invasive species info center:

https://www.invasivespeciesinfo.gov/terrestrial/invertebrates/asian-jumping-worm

This from our very own Lincoln Garden Club with a few preventative suggestions:

https://www.lincolngardenclub.org/conservation-environment-2/

This site from The state of Maine seems pretty informative:

https://www.maine.gov/dacf/php/horticulture/crazyworms.shtml

Pretty painful to realize how widespread they already are here. So very harmful
to our ecosystems and soil quality. I can’t imagine they are doing our many
farmers any good either.

Best regards,
Michelle Barnes
