I tried the mustard mix.There’s no way you could do a whole lawn that way. And the little pesters are fast. I was only able to about pick up about 2/3 of them before they disappeared back into the dirt.
My husband says they appear when he’s raking the leaves in the fall, so I can follow him while he does that. But I’d really like to try to get them out of the ground in mid August when they’re starting to lay their eggs. Certainly if you get them out in the fall when they’re so big it keeps them from doing so much damage. The whole thing is just too depressing for words.
