We have a new LG TV and Sonos ARC soundbar. Both were purchased together at BestBuy. Both were installed by BB Geek Squad.
The TV was installed by knowledgeable tech and all was well. He managed to navigate our complex web of receivers, Apple TV, CD player, and old Sony sound system. All was well, except the soundbar would not arrive for 2 months…the usual supply-chain issues. At installation of the soundbar, the sound did not synch with the picture-lips moved before sound arrived. The installer played around with things, shrugged and told me to work with my app…and left. Really? We have fiddled and fiddled and had a friend who is an audio expert try to get this thing to work. He was able to improve things, but not create a total synch. We have FIOS (which, since Verizon “upgrade” wires a few weeks ago, now cuts in and out). We have Apple TV. We have this wonderful new TV And we have a soundbar which definitely improves sound and voices, but, does not play nicely with the picture on the TV. Now, we are awaiting the next round of the GeekSquad to arrive, but have not expectations. Any ideas out there? Sara PS I have tried repeatedly to connect with the original salesperson, but the BestBuy system does not allow for any phone connection to the store!
