The actual South Lincoln Planning district is *very* limited in scope,
especially when you consider the frontage that would be important in making
traffic function. It ends at the Ryan Estate and Codman on one side and
doesn't contain any of the single-family residential properties on either
end. A large portion of the buildable lots already contains low/medium
density housing.

So any successful plan would require expansion of the district or a change
to zoning law within a certain distance of the train station, and/or
swapping Town conservation/DPW land out to build.

I'd be curious to hear what candidates would actually propose as a
solution, e.g. specific zoning changes they would advocate for.
