Lincoln’s current population (per the 2020 Census) is 7,014 people. In 2010 it was 6,362. So, we have grown about 10% in the last 10 years. (You can find more details on Wikipedia, and very detailed information at the U.S. Census official website.)
Much of that growth was due to Oriole Landing and the building of The Commons as well. I suspect - but am not sure - that much of the rest of the growth is due to how the counting was done.
