If "Littleton is working on a spacious 2 story senior center with lots of office space, activity and other dedicated rooms, dining hall etc. etc for  under 15 Million  " and their population is around 10,000 and Wayland has a projected cost of  4.5 million ( from 2018), why is Lincoln's projected cost $25 million? What am I missing here? We are talking almost twice the cost of Littleton's center and in todays dollars at least three times the cost of Waylands. Lincoln used to be a frugal old Yankee town. I think that is long gone. Why is the projected cost of Lincoln's so much higher than the surrounding towns? Somebody smarter than I am may be able to answer that question.

I think also that after spending $98 million on a new school no one is anxious for the town to take on more debt, especially since interest rates are rising.
