Moreover, it's important to note that this specifically does nothing for lower-middle income families. The developers are granted "at right" zoning, meaning they can build multimillion dollar condos, 4 stories high, to take the place of moderately priced homes in the 220 acre areas. Not exactly the hoped for result, it just adds to the density and does not actually help working class families get a toehold in Lexington.
