HATS has been pretty dormant, but the Hanscom issue has revitalized it.
Back in the dinosaur days, when I was a Select, we worked on a lot of traffic
issues that went beyond HATS region and to the larger region of MAGIC.
The Crosby’s Corner project was an outgrowth of first HATS and then the Rt.2
CAC.
All those networks allowed us to get Crosby’s Corner on the MPO list and
finally completed.
When towns work together, the state pays attention.

Yes, it took 20 years to complete Crosby’s Corner, but how many remember the
old days?
We take that upgrade for granted.

So it will be with regional planning to improve transit networks, including
bike paths.

As for Wayland, the hump you show has good sight-lines and is on a fairly
straight stretch of road-perfect for such a hump!
Where in Lincoln do we have such conditions?
Are they in your Master Plan?
I re-read the (excellent) plan and could not find them.
I was also looking for a map that could identify where we had enough ROW to
increase widths and/or install new paths.
Does such a mp exist?

Is there still a request before Cap.Comm?

…less to think about and Ginger’s unfortunate encounter highlights the
importance of caring on the discussion.
