Yes, more clear signage would be a comfort. I called the DPW about this
question last year and was told then that both of the clothing recycling
bins in front of the swap shed are handled the same way, i.e., the recycler
inspects everything and decides what goes for shredding versus re-use.

So you can just bag everything together. (I like to wash everything first,
out of sympathy for the recycling facility workers, but don't know if
that's required.)
