I don’t know about the original poster, but I’d like to point out that not everyone who lives in Lincoln has a house with 2-acre zoning.

Sent from my iPhone. Please pardon typos. With 2 acre zoning, that should be enough to roam…not necessarily a walk with the humans, but a place for a dog to stretch their legs.
How about your own yard ?
Thank you so much for the clarification
I was beginning to think of the rhyme of the ancient mariner
Trails trails everyone but not a spot to run
Certainly we can spare in our vast open spaces one (or - - horrors two?) small designated dog patch(es) for dogs to run and play

Dogs can be off leash in Lincoln except for certain areas like the trails around Flint's Pond and Decordova and some parts of Mt. Misery, as long as they are under voice control and you put them on a leash if someone is walking your way, or the person says it's ok for your dog to be off leash. Apparently, during the pandemic, when more people came to walk on the trails in Lincoln, people complained about the dogs.
I wonder how many humans have arbitrarily run out of the woods to attack a father and his three year-old while walking on a trail in Lincoln?
Incredible
Rick
And I hope to protect the dogs from humans - after all, which is the more dangerous animal ?
