I find that every time I drop off compost items there are plastic bags of stuff in the bins, despite a big sign saying no plastic bags. I wonder if that is the problem.

One tricky item is produce stickers – they are not compostable and must be removed.

Therefore, the compost container will be closed on Saturday, October 11, as we work to resolve this situation. Compost material can be placed in the household trash or brought back on Wednesday.
