Ruth Ann,

I’ll add two cents and contribute my voice to the chorus.
Brava! I applaud you for introducing your family including grandsons to some
real culture and a live experience, (not tethered to devices!).
The legendary Jack Langstaff started the grassrootsRevels that’s become a
local, community-based, decades-long tradition with Christmas Revels (now
called MidWinter Revels).
In case it’s not abundantly clear at this point, it is multicultural,
definitely multigenerational - with children both in the cast and in the
audience, and multi fun!
And as others have pointed out, the audience sing-alongs, and the spiraling
line dance “Lord of the Dance“, is something to experience!

It’s truly unique among the plethora of musical/cultural events at this time of
year.

Anyone who is musically inclined, can audition to be part of the chorus, and I
strongly encourage it.

I was a member of the Revels Repertory Theater - smaller, touring part of the
organization. We did five shows and performed at schools community centers and
churches. I loved it.

Enjoy!
