The issue (for me) is that the video is non-rectangular- which platform is going to deliver the best performance (fast moving action video and some text "bigger", "faster"... type of stuff).
Do I use a mask to define the area where the video will be seen, or create a "hole" for the video to be shown through?
p.s. I actually find the codec discussion more interesting than my current project- but don't tell my client.
