If there is a 3D member on the stage, how can i drag a normal sprite over it and have it still visible. It will work with direct to stage switched off but the 3D scene slows down a lot.
You can get the right effect if you have the same bitmap as an overlay texture. You would position the overlay somewhere that matched where the bitmap sprite is located. The effect is very convincing, except that the 3D world and the stage draw at slightly different times, which means that if you hover over the boundary and do fast mouse movements you'll notice a tearing effect between the two of them.
