Hi Paul, Unfortunately, there is no solution to embed a PDF document in a Director Movie. The only way is to use an xtra like Impressario Xtra that will link to a PDF File.
If you tell us more about your project, we could give you more advices on which product is best for you. For reference, you have 3 alternatives : - Impressario : the most powerful, easy to use, trully cross-platform and no need to rely on Acrobat Reader - http://www.inm.com/products/impressario/. - PDF Xtra : cost effective but not 100% cross-platform and relies on Acrobat Reader - http://www.inm.com/products/pdfxtra/. - Buddy API : this xtra could be use to lauchn Acrobat Reader tp be able to display a PDF document. It's cost effective, but relies on Acrobat Reader and the PDF document is displayed ouside from Director Stage - http://www.mods.com.au/. I hope this will help. I found an old version which should work with my version of Director, 8.0. But the install instructions for the Xtra call for you to locate the folder which contains "PDF Asset.x32." I don't seem to have such an asset. Anybody know what that is and where to find it?
