Thanks for your input so far.
permissions could be a big headache depending on your architechture.
As nothing is to be written to disk, and I always use an external xtras
folder, I shouldn't think permissions should be too much of a problem,
although thankfully that's not my responsibility in the end!
i would go with a client/server design.
What do you have in mind? The idea behind this is to have everything served
from a remote location with nothing really installed or required at the
client end (apart from the Shockwave player if I go web-based), otherwise we
might as well just stick with the existing CD delivery.
Any more contributions list?
