anyway, the absence of any official adobe statements mentioning the name director (the ones from the director team members aside) can be seen as "a statement" by now, more than one year after the announcement of the merger.



So maybe time to reevaluate the alternatives ( don't take this wrong, at the top of that list will be Director 11 Pro 2006)

I couldn't agree more to all points you made.
the "yak" stands for "I was one time treated bad by a company, so why switch to another tool o fthe same company" ?

I still think, that java could be, what I am looking for. esp. java3d looks like many of my director work could best be translated to.
