Is it just me, or is there something missing? Getting real nervous...
I highly recommend listening to the interview with Tom Higgins on
the director podcast. It's a great interview and also very inspiring:

You were right in pointing this out. Just listened to the podcast and
it must say it sounds (a bit) encouraging
This in combination with the remark form Alex that the citation that
got me running is dated somewhere in february did cool things down
Still keeping up my point that Adobe is horribly in communicating
about the way Director is going
I appreciate Tom Higgins efforts, but by now I would like something
as a roadmap (and timescale) related to the big events (Universal
Binary Shockwave, UB Director and why not Shockwave Linux(please, i'm
converting a shockwave app to java as we speak). Will there be an
Universal Director ? First a Windows version that is capable of
compiling a UB projector ?
I'm readying a 2 year development project in Director for release
(and of course looking to the upgrade path) and I find myself looking
for answers. You have to admit that Directors future is at least
looking shaky and the lack of an official roadmap is making me real
nervous.
But hey, nothing you guys can do about this.
I'm off, back to improving my java skills (where is that save as java
command located in MX 2004??)
