> Hi Seb (I guess it must be short for Sebastian :) )
quite close to it, it's short for sbastien ;)
> Why? Is the Havok website's open source examples and demos too simple?
it was just to mention that, even if it's a very great ressource, one don't
have to expect to find _everything_ into it. there's lots of 3D materils on
the web and on other books, that's why I belive the very inner vamue of
James book is the imaging a,d smus sections, so brilliant!
> Sorry, I was speaking figuratively. No offense meant, o.k.?
I didnt' take offense at all, it was just to try to point out what Karina's
said more efficently : the movies/tools that comes with the book are very
useful. (James has created a mulituser console to test in realTime smus
syhntax and message... I'm using it for ALL my smus projects!)
> By the way, just curious - how did you all get a copy of the drafts or
> manuscripts to read?
As I was his trainee last year, he give me a look on his writings ;), then
I joined the private mailing list to read/comments/test the drafts, like
Karina and Kerry (and a few others). I hope I'm not saying a secret?!
cheers,
