"There's no such thing as bad publicity..." so they say. How many clients would actually say, "You know what? Let's not do this project on Director 'cause that pesky logo is too annoying". Not many I guess. They will put some resistance in most cases but they would end up agreeing to those terms. And Macromedia will be promoting the use of their products, benefiting themselves and helping us expand the market for multimedia apps.
Annoying, yes. Useful for Macromedia, yes. Useful for us that work with their products, yes. Am I missing something?
