Hmm. Why not just check the "use title bar" option when you create 
the projector? That will give you a close box and a minimize button, 
and I believe if your exitLock is set to true the close box will be 
ignored.

If that just won't do it for you, check out the Mile High Table at 
http://www.updatestage.com/products and see if there's an Xtra that 
lets you do it. I bet there's at least one. ;)
