hello list, i've spent all afternoon trying to read up on a problem we've been trying to solve for our project, but i still havent really found anything conclusive. here goes:
we've got a quicktime vr of planet earth (consisting about 870 individual images) which needs to be fitted with 20 hotspots that i then need to "capture" in director (on mouseUp a simple quicktime movie needs to be called up in place of the vr). thing is that our dealine looms just around the corner and mr. boss has totally underestimated the time it is going to take to put the hotspots into the vr movie (870 images times 20 hotspots... *sigh* we have vr worx here, which basically offers nothing but the possibility to hand-draw every single hotspot into every single image of the vr... no measurements no grid...). so mr. boss decides to outsource the hotspots... mr. outsource is now asking me whether he can use life stage pro and add a flash track to the vr movie. and i just have no idea... can i read my click information out of a quicktime vr with flash track?? i found this in the list archives: >>Question is, do flash layers inside quicktime movies become disabled inside >>the Director environment. >They should work, but they wouldn't be communicating with Director in >any way. and >> Do you know of a way to pass commands from a "Flashed" Quicktime movie to >> Director? >Director ignores messages from Quicktime unless they come from VR hotspots. so does director just not receive anything from a flash track? heeellllp! what's an idiot like me to do? thnx, heike [To remove yourself from this list, or to change to digest mode, go to http://www.penworks.com/lingo-l.cgi To post messages to the list, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Problems, email [EMAIL PROTECTED]).
