Dear All ,
HI!. I have a problem in director 8.5 3D ,wherein, I want to rotate a
model (aircraft) so that it's head always points in the direction of the
cursor using the mousewithin event. I do not want to use the orbit camera
Action. I have tried modifying the orbit camera code to suit my purpose but
the model rotates only by the magnitude ,it does not rotate to point the
cursor .
Does anybody have a solution for this??
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thanking you.
Yours truly,
For WITS

Quicktime videos, it won't play Quicktime VR images.

including Live Picture, which uses a self-installing Java viewer.
Unfortunately, since most XP machines don't have Java installed, those
machines won't show these images.

possible to create virtual reality images by mapping an image on a 3D sphere
cast member, then placing a camera at its center? If this would work, I
assume that creating some sort of click and drag interface to rotate the
image would be very simple.

thinking of? (I'm not that experienced with 3D Lingo.)

viewers see it without having to download and install any software.
