Could someone tell me how to set the path from a Director movie sitting inside folder A to a Microsoft Word document sitting inside folder B on a mac. Folder A and folder B sit side by side on a cdrom.
I need to make the Word document print or open up from the Director movie. I can do this quite easily on a PC with the following code: set OK = baPrintFile( the moviePath &"..\Word Documents\Lodges\CHOBE.doc") but I'm having a terrible time trying to make it find the same file when on a mac. I've tried all kinds of configurations of @ and : , as well as "the moviePath" and still can't make it happen. When the document is in the same folder as the Director movie it opens and brings up the print dialogue box perfectly with: set OK = baPrintFile( the moviePath &"CHOBE.doc") I'd appreciate any help offered.
