Yep, I checked that too after I wrote the email. Same thing. Loaded and mediaReady are responding the same. Very odd functionality. Also, when I switch the sprite's member (when the member comes back loaded), the screen hangs, doesn't respond to rollovers, etc - but i know it's actually working behind the scenes - again just by looking at the memory crawl up in win2k monitor. Maybe it's just too much stress for the box to actually preload 50MB off a cd, but I couldn't find anything that says that I'm doing stuff beyond Director's means so......anyone actually ever try to do this successfully before?
