You're so kind.

I think just using a person's last name is acceptable in some 
situations more than others. I can't really remember hearing my own 
last name much until I joined the R.A.F., and then that's all they 
used. You'll often hear Japanese men called "Yamaha San" or something 
like that, which only really means Mr. Yamaha. I know one Japanese 
guy who told me that it was upsetting to hear just his family name, 
without the San part (sans san, you might say in French).

I'm sure that if Warren is ex-military, he won't mind being called Okrassa.
