I remember reading somewhere that there was a performance hit on 8.5.1 with Flash anims, hense my question. I have an idea for an animated navigation system and would love to use it in Director, but at the moment it runs a little sluggish in 8.5.1 (for me anyway on a PIII 700 with 256mb G400 Max 32mb).
I have not noticed any performance drop on static flash sprites other than when I scroll then around the stage, which would be expected depending on the hardware.
