There are a few gotchas. Not many, but a few. In general, you're better off with 8.5 or MX. The playback engine didn't change, but it's leaner and meaner than 8.0. Lower minimum sys, faster text, a few bug fixes. I would go through all the movies--not just the projector--and convert them to 8.5 or MX first. That will catch most potential bugs. For example, if you're writing to an external cast, 8.5 or MX won't be able to save the 8.0 .cst file. And... Test, test, test.
