All - I hope that this question hasn't already been answered several times but I'm a new to the list.
I'm getting ready to "go prime time" with a Director app written in 8.0 - does anyone see a reason why I shouldn't create the projector using MX? Would your answer hold true for both Mac and PC?
You should never upconvert in the eleventh hour on anything. Unless user specs have radically altered stick with the 8.0 projector for now.
DMX on Mac does include OSX support but not all Xtras are in place yet, and there are enough differences in a 9 versus X release for a program that you'll want to be able to have some time to get used to the idiosyncracies of the system before you try to go live with anything.
