We have found the Tabuleiro WebXtra to work extremely well; its features are easy to
use and pretty powerful.

An exception was Flash 6, and we didn't notice the problem for a while: it plays the
Flash item fine, and you can click within it and it will register the mousedown, like
for a button or game, etc. However, it only gets the FIRST click. Any subsequent
attempts to click on an item are ignored.

We contacted Tabuleiro, and their response was that it was a problem with
Explorer/Windows/ActiveX, etc., and had no workarounds. After we isolated the problem
and found that if you clicked out of the WebXtra window and back on the Director
movie, you could then go and make a new, single, click in the Flash piece in the
WebXtra window. Based on this new info, we developed the following workaround, which I
would recommend: use the (excellent) MasterApp Xtra to make a fake mouse click back on
the Director window, which gives focus back to it. This is done without the mouse
pointer moving at all (it's a "fake" mouse click).

You may need to do this constantly while the WebXtra is running, to avoid having to
parse out all of the incoming html to check if there is any Flash on the page.

The only drawback so far to this workaround is that MasterApp is an additional cost.
But we use it all the time, so we had it around already! It was also useful in
selectively killing all the kinds of unwanted popup windows you get when you're
loading web pages, including ad windows, print dialogs, etc.

We also found that shockwave worked fine. No problems at all.
