I'm in the process of developing my first DVD-based project. Top of the head are there any critical do's and don't's that I need to keep in mind.
If (as it seems) you're just talking about making a DVD-Video title, then use iDVD or DVD Studio Pro on the Mac, or maybe one of the Sonic Solutions programs on a PC. You won't need to involve Director at all.
